Annie's Cottage is a converted wing of the old farmhouse. The Gower
family have farmed here for generations and the house itself
is thought to date back to the 17th Century. Originally it was
timber framed and thatched but the clay lump walls were replaced
with brick early last century when the old thatched roof was
lowered and replaced with pantiles. Annie's Cottage retains many
period features with big oak beams and uneven upstairs floors.
